I’m Kate.
Over a decade in this industry: acting, development, script analysis. I cut my teeth reading for high-end boutique management companies, and giving notes to friends who happen to be development execs and producers. The coverage I write today came out of those rooms.
My degree is in Understanding and Influencing Human Behavior. I look past the plot mechanics to why the emotional beats aren’t landing.
And part of why I do this is selfish. I want to see better movies.
